Son of Diederik Jacob van Tuyll and Jacoba Helena de Vicq. Married (17-Sep-1780) to Dorothea Henriette de Pagniet (1751-1836) with whom he had at least four children.

From 1763 to 1765, Vincent had as his tutor Charles-Emmanuel de Charriére, who would later marry his sister, Belle.

Vincent later became a Lieutenant-Colonel in the Cavalry but was wounded in the war between the Dutch Republic and the French revolutionary forces. He was taken prisoner and died of dysentery in a military hospital.1

Boswell met Vincent at Heer van Zuylen's on January 30 or February 6, 1764.
