Armadale
A village near the southern end of the Sleat peninsula on the Isle of Skye, overlooking the Sound of Sleat. It is home to the now ruined Armadale Castle, built by Sir Alexander Macdonald around 1790. The village has a small port with ferry services to Mallaig on the Scottish mainland.
