Benjamin Caron - reader at the English Church in Utrecht
Reader at the English church in Utrecht from 1754 until at least 1763. Son of a French father and an English mother. Formerly a wig maker in London.1
Carron was Boswell's teacher of French in Utrecht 1763-64 and was one of Boswell's few English acquaintances in the city.
