The ill-fated mountaineer George Mallory's only book was "Boswell the Biographer"?
Adam Craufurd of Dalleagles and Polquhairn
Adam Craufurd
Born possibly 1712Died possibly 1794
Alias:
Craufurd of Dalleagles
Craufurd of Polquhairn
Biography:
The last Craufurd of Dalleagles. At his death he was referred to as Craufurd of Polquhairn.1
Life with Boswell:
Boswell visited Polquhairn as the first stop on his harvest jaunt of 1762, together with James Chalmers on September 14, 1762.
The age of Craufurd is inferred from (Link), but I don't know for sure if he is in fact the Craufurd of Dalleagles who was (presumably) visited by Boswell.
