Sarah Mills
Sometime maid to Archibald Stewart at Rotterdam. Married to John Mollison, with whom she had at least one son (b. 1766).
Boswell met Sarah, often referred to as Sally, and her husband at Archibald Stewart's residence in Rotterdam in 1763 and 1764. On January 11, 1764, he played cards with the two for 7 hours, and afterwards referred (in his memorandum) to Sarah as "erst maid and w--re".
Unless otherwise noted, the source for a dated quotation of Boswell's is generally the corresponding volume of the Yale Trade Editions of Boswell's journals.
