Archibald Erskine. (1736-1797) (aka. 7th Earl of Kellie / The Owl)

Son of Alexander Erskine (d. 1756), 5th Earl of Kellie, and Janet Pitcairn (d. 1775). Brother of Elizabeth, Anne, Andrew and Thomas Alexander Erskine. He inherited the Earldom of Kellie following the death of his brother Thomas Alexander in 1781, thus becoming the 7th Earl of Kellie. Nicknamed The Owl by Boswell and Andrew Erskine. A Captain in 1763.

Boswell and Andrew Erskine had tea with Archibald Erskine at George Dempster's on April 4, 1763.
