Carl Friedrich Hübner. (-)

Sometime clerk in the Chancery Court, Berlin (mid-1760s).

Life with James Boswell:

Boswell went in a coach with Hübner to Charlottenburg on July 21, 1764. He described him as "a genteel, even-tempered, fine fellow, much at ease." On July 26, Boswell went with Hübner and F. L. Kircheisen to the Garden of Corsica.

Notes:

Notes on identification: The identification of Boswell's Herr Hübner with C.F. Hübner, as suggested by the editors of GT1, is only tentative.
