BiographyFriedrich Ehrenreich Behmer. (1721-ca. 1777) German jurist and sometime conseiller de guerre (member of the Prussian War-Council). Life with James Boswell:
Boswell went with the Kircheisens to a party at Behmer's on July 17, 1764. Behmer was the uncle of Mlle. Schartow, a girl who was raised by the Kircheisens as part of their family.
