BiographyGeorge Douglas. (1754-) Son of Andrew Douglas and Mary. From ca. 1762 he attended the Westminster School. He attended Oxford from 1772 until 1779 when he received his M.A.1 Life with James Boswell:
Boswell met him when visiting George's father, Boswell's friend and doctor Andrew Douglas, during his 1762-3 stay in London.
