BiographyPatrick Craufurd. (-) (aka. of Rotterdam) Son of James Craufurd. Nephew of Patrick Craufurd. Appointed Conservator of Scots' Privileges in Holland in 1769. Life with James Boswell:
Boswell called on a Mr. Craufurd on June 1, 1764, presumably to order some White Port which he had previously promised to send to Abraham Gronovius. According to BiH this Craufurd was Patrick Craufurd, but it may in fact have been his father, James (see James Craufurd for further info).
