Biography

Jacoba Helena de Vicq. (1724-1768) (aka. Madame de Zuylen)

Daughter of Rene de Vicq (1683-1737) and Maria Jacoba van Goor (1687-1737). Married (1739) to Diederik Jacob van Tuyll van Serooskerken. Mother of Belle de Zuylen

Life with James Boswell:

Boswell first mentions "cultivating her acquaintance" on December 16, 1763.1

Notes:

Full name sometimes given as Helena Jacoba de Vicq.

Note 1: Although he only refers to a Madame de Zuylen (which could also be her daughter), it seems reasonable to suggest that it was indeed Jacoba Helena de Vicq he was referring to.
