David Boswell. (1748-1826) (aka. Thomas David Boswell)

Son of Alexander Boswell and Euphemia Erskine. James Boswell's youngest brother. Married (1784) to Anne Catherine Green. When David went to Spain to become a merchant at Valencia, he changed his name to Thomas David Boswell.

Life with James Boswell:

David Boswell enters JB's journals when he arrived in Edinburgh with his mother on November 10, 1762. The two brothers were rather close, often of the same mind and they corresponded often during the long periods of physical absence from each other.
