Biography

George Henderson. (-) (aka. Cousin to Sir William)

Probably a son of John Henderson and Grace Maxwell (d. 1788), William Maxwell's aunt.1

Life with James Boswell:

Boswell met him at Springkell on October 7, 1762, and described him as "a good honest fellow, cousin to Sir William".

Notes:

Note 1: Boswell informs us, in his journal, that Henderson is a cousin to Sir William Maxwell.
